DeMont Davis

Georgia State Senate
DeMont Davis possesses the experience necessary to move Clayton and Henry Counties forward and in the right direction. He has proven himself to be a fair-minded, rational and unison building leader- as an IT consultant, project manager, director and an active member of the community. Currently, his strategic and management skills involve assisting small business and academia. In this capacity DeMont counsels schools, small businesses and IT management on how to maximize and create new opportunities through technology.

About DeMont

Education
DeMont graduated from Prairie View A&M University and received his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Clark Atlanta University with honors. He is a member of Project Management Institute.
Experience
DeMont began his career with Accenture Consulting ( fomerly Anderson Consulting). There he led many successful projects and learned valuable project management and leadership skills while building many strong client relationship.

In 2002 DeMont served as Richter Systems’ first African-American Director of Oracle Customizations for North America. His service and ingenuity in this role assisted in the development of progressive strategic initiatives to foster revenue growth, streamlining and creating new methodologies to cut costs and maximize efficiency.
Service
DeMont believes that the work for a better life is never done. He demonstrates this in his service to himself, his family and his commuinty. His leadership and organizational skills have led to positions with Lake Spivey Civic Association, Sabbath Keepers Youth League, SPLOST 2008, Spivey Orchard Estates Homeowner Association and the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
