I have announced my candidacy for the Georgia State Senate. I believe Georgia needs a conservative democrat in the Georgia State Senate. I share your concerns with the direction in which our county is going. I believe in a strong education and unconditional support of our local businesses. However, I am not satisfied with the progress and results we are experiencing in our representation under the gold dome.

There must be a commitment to local issues, while working to develop strong relationships with other legislators and business leaders to assist in our commitment to preserve a high quality of life for the southern crescent.

The needs of our children must be addressed; strong accredited schools for example. I believe more can be done to attract and foster small and large businesses to support and stabilize the economic viability of both Clayton and Henry counties. Issues confronting Georgia’s citizens such as taxes and health care must be addressed as well. We must also seek solutions to overburdening financial service and foreclosure challenges.

I will be traveling throughout the great counties of Clayton and Henry carrying my conservative message and engaging in an open and honest discussion about the important issues that affect us all.
